Young Entrepreneurs pitch their ideas to Business professionals
24th February 2020
Last month, Mario Carrozzo, our Group CEO, and Akeel Alidina, our Managing Director, took part in an annual speed-networking event in Crawley for Young Start-up Talent (YST), an entrepreneurial initiative in the South East.
The event invites a selection of young entrepreneurs, from around the region, to pitch their business ideas on a 1-2-1 basis to each of the business professionals that attended the event.
The candidates had just ten minutes to inspire and convince business professionals from the local area of the feasibility and originality of their business, whilst also showing their entrepreneurial passion and creativity.
Each candidate was competing for their place in the final, bringing them one step closer to being announced as the winner of prize fund of business products and services.
As one of the business sponsors for the local area, Caridon was fortunate enough to be invited to take part in this event.
Akeel said “It’s always good to invest time into future talent. There were some inspiring ideas and with the right guidance, there is some real success stories in the making”.
Akeel and Mario will return this week for the formal presentations and filming. “I fully support any initiative which gives young minds a platform in which to test their own creativity and entrepreneurial skills. We were really impressed by the enthusiasm and drive of these young individuals and will look forward to seeing them succeed” said Mario.
