Fun-Filled Summer at Caridon’s Sutherland Quarters
30th August 2024
As summer rolls around, many parents face the challenge of balancing work, childcare, and keeping their little ones entertained. Luckily, at Caridon Property’s Sutherland Quarters in Crawley, the community came together to provide a summer filled with exciting events and activities, creating a space where residents, families, and visitors could bond, unwind, and make memories.
At the heart of these activities was The Cabin, a lively hub of fun and creativity, where every Wednesday during the summer holidays, children and their families could join workshops and activities planned by Deborah Stainforth, Caridon's dedicated Community Engagement Officer. From hands-on crafting at Creative Kids sessions to an inspiring visit from Creative Crawley, the little ones were never short of exciting ways to express themselves and have fun!
As the summer drew to a close, the festivities culminated with a fantastic end-of-summer BBQ. Laughter, chatter, and the smell of mouth-watering food filled the air. It was a day to remember, as kids enjoyed games, adults caught up, and everyone came together to celebrate the vibrant community spirit at Sutherland Quarters.
A huge thank you to Lord Geoffrey “The Balloon Guy”for keeping the kids entertained with his magical balloon creations, making sure the little ones were smiling from ear to ear!
A special shoutout goes to Loren Roberts for meticulously organising and prepping all the delicious food that made the BBQ such a hit, while Stefano Rinaldi manned the grill like a pro, serving up burgers, hot dogs, and more to a crowd of hungry, happy guests. Of course, none of this would have been possible without the fantastic support of Mike, Wes, Kobby, Jack, and Debs, who worked tirelessly throughout the day to ensure everything ran smoothly.
At Caridon Property, we’re proud to foster a sense of community at Sutherland Quarters, where residents can rely on each other and come together for unforgettable moments like these.
Thank you to everyone who participated and made it possible.
