Caridon wins Silver for ‘Community Champion’

29th November 2023

Caridon Group is extremely proud to have been awarded Silver at The Negotiator Awards 2023 for ‘Community Champion of the Year’. This is the third year in a row that Caridon has been awarded in this category.

London’s premier venue, The Grosvenor House Hotel on Park Lane in Mayfair, London, gave a very warm welcome to almost a thousand of the UK’s leading estate and letting agents and property professionals.

The growing number of entries to the Community Champion category and the Sustainability categories continues to demonstrate the positive impact the industry is having in the wider community. Caridon was up against 21 other organisations shortlisted in their category, beating industry leading names including Thomas Morris and Chestertons, and only topped by Manning Stainton, who deservedly won Gold for raising more than £250,0000.

Winning The Negotiator Awards is recognition of a property company’s exceptional standards and is an accolade regarded as the pinnacle of achievement in the UK residential property industry. Hundreds of companies and individuals enter each year. It is a gold standard for the customers, stakeholders and staff of those businesses.

The Negotiator publishing director, Grant Leonard, said, “Our awards programme stands apart, being by leaders and industry experts who truly understand the world of estate agency, rather than being based on a statistics. Estate agency is about people, not numbers and The Negotiator Awards are an opportunity for agents to demonstrate the human aspect as well as the business side.”

Mario Carrozzo, CEO of Caridon Group, who attended the awards evening said: “Caridon is where is it today because we ardently believe that our collective professional efforts reflect our values and our dedication to social welfare.

When I started this company, my vision extended beyond just housing; it aimed to assist individuals encountering barriers elsewhere. As an organisation, we champion the notion that everyone deserves an equal opportunity to pursue a better future, irrespective of their past or present circumstances.

The last 12 months have really tested those most vulnerable in society as the cost of living crisis deepens. As a business, we too feel the impact of rising costs but we know it makes our services even more valuable to those who rely on us. That’s why we have not only sustained our services, but we have expanded and found new and innovative ways to support our communities. Against all odds, we have been instrumental in providing individuals with a sense of safety, shelter, support and community inclusion.

Winning the silver award in such a tough category is not just testament to our commitment to supporting the communities in which we operate; it is also a reflection of the shared high standards and values held by every member of our staff at Caridon. I express profound gratitude and pride in our exceptional team.”
