Caridon Supports Caudwell Children's Moth Ball 2024

1st November 2024

On 31st October, Caridon Group proudly participated in the inaugural Moth Ball, a gothic-themed gala organised by Caudwell Children. The event, hosted to raise funds for disabled and autistic children, generated an impressive £76,000, supporting essential programs like autism assessments and employability initiatives for neurodivergent youth.

As a company heavily invested in creating inclusive communities, Our CEO Mario Carrozzo contributed £5,000 on behalf Caridon Group, with an additional personal donation through the silent auction bringing the total to over £9,000. Our support reflects our alignment with Caudwell Children's mission to empower and uplift children with disabilities by providing critical services, specialist equipment, and opportunities for their families to thrive.

The funds raised will have a transformative impact, enabling Caudwell Children to expand their services. This includes autism assessments to identify individual needs and the ‘Shaping Futures’ program, designed to help young neurodivergent individuals transition into employment. These initiatives provide a vital lifeline, breaking barriers and fostering independence and confidence.

Caridon Group’s ethos aligns seamlessly with Caudwell Children's dedication to inclusion. Through projects like Caridon Young Living, we actively support autistic children and their families, promoting awareness within our communities. We have witnessed first-hand how inclusive environments empower individuals to thrive, and we are determined to continue fostering such spaces through our work and partnerships.

Mario Carrozzo expressed his gratitude for being part of such a meaningful cause:
"Contributing to Caudwell Children’s vital mission is a privilege. Their work resonates with our belief in the power of community and inclusivity. We look forward to further collaborations to support and champion these important initiatives."

The Moth Ball was not only a fundraising triumph but also a celebration of the resilience and strength of disabled and autistic children and their families. We extend our heartfelt thanks to Caudwell Children for hosting this extraordinary event and for their unwavering commitment to creating a brighter future for every child.
