Caridon Group awarded Gold CSR Accreditation

24th May 2022

Caridon Group is extremely proud to have achieved gold accreditation for Corporate, Social Responsibility (CSR).

The Accreditation demonstrates that Caridon Group has integrated social responsibility initiatives throughout its business operations, enriching the quality of lives for all by investing in social value as an essential part of the organisation’s culture.

The accreditation is granted by leading UK based company, CSR-A, who deliver a global standard for CSR.

Organisations are measured against ‘four pillars’ of CSR, including environment, workplace, community and philanthropy. Each Social Responsibility Pillar is designed to allow companies to report impact on areas such as energy performance, recycling, staff engagement, health and well-being, community engagement and support for local and national charities.

Accredited organisations can achieve a three-year bronze, silver or gold status and go through a process of extensive and in-depth scrutiny by a CSR-A expert panel made up of 20 judges from across the public and private sector.

To achieve bronze organisations must score 50 – 64%, for silver the score must be 65-79% and for gold organisations must score 80% upwards.

The accreditation process involved a thorough auditing exercise of Caridon’s polices, practices, reporting and evidence, as well as future planning. After evaluation of Caridon’s submission and supporting evidence, the judges awarded ‘Gold Accreditation’, with a score of 87%.

Commenting on the company’s exceptional achievement, Mario Carrozzo, CEO of Caridon Group, said:

I am immensely proud of achieving gold CSR Accreditation, which is a visible testimony of Caridon’s excellence in social responsibility and demonstrates what an amazingly dedicated and passionate team I have the privilege of working with.

“This accolade is testament to our commitment to delivering high quality accommodation and support services, and clearly highlights the importance that we place on being immersed in the local communities we serve, not only to support those most in need, but to have a positive impact both socially and economically.”
