Caridon gives a little bit Eggs-tra this Easter
1st April 2021
With lockdown eased ever so slightly and the sun starting to shine, Caridon Property has been spreading a little extra joy by donating more than 200 Easter eggs.
Working with people who, in many cases, have suffered the effects of social exclusion through circumstances such as homelessness, unemployment and issues with mental health, Caridon understands that annual celebrations, like Easter, can be challenging for some.
Our amazing team in Crawley have been doing all they can to speak a little Easter joy. They have donated 50 Easter eggs to local charity, Crawley Open House, for people who, owing to their current circumstances, may never have celebrated Easter before. They have also delivered Easter eggs to residents living in their four buildings in Crawley and Harlow, as well as organising Easter egg hunts, Easter bonnet making competitions and a socially distanced egg and spoon race.
Mario Carrozzo, CEO of Caridon Group, said:
“Times of celebration can magnify the dominant challenges in our lives, and we understand that people who already feel alone, isolated and excluded may experience heightened distress. Things have been incredibly tough for so many people during the pandemic and we want to do anything we can to bring a little bit of joy. Our teams in both Crawley and Harlow have been working incredibly hard to create a sense of community, inclusion and fun and we’ve had some lovely feedback.”
