Caridon Conquers Tough Mudder Raising £1500 for LYZ
26th September 2024
A team of six dedicated participants from Caridon Group have successfully completed the Tough Mudder 2024, raising an incredible £1,500 (and counting) for Legacy Youth Zone (LYZ).
On 21st September, the Caridon team—Stef, Jeven, Eddy, Gianluca, Emma, and Mayo—took on the ultimate test of endurance and teamwork, tackling a grueling 10-mile course packed with 22 intense obstacles. Highlights of the course included the Electric Eel, Arctic Enema, Hydrophobia, and the Cage Crawl, which tested the team’s resilience both physically and mentally.
The team’s tireless fundraising efforts will provide much-needed support to Legacy Youth Zone, a charity that empowers young people in Croydon through access to sports, arts, and educational activities. Legacy Youth Zone’s facilities offer a safe and engaging space for young people who might not otherwise have such opportunities.
Legacy Youth Zone expressed their heartfelt gratitude for Caridon Group’s participation and generosity, stating:
"Dear Caridon Team, thank you so much for your continued support and participation in this year's Tough Mudder 2024 challenge event. Raising over £1,500 is absolutely incredible, and we are deeply grateful for your efforts!
Your contribution will go a long way in helping thousands of young people access the amazing resources and activities we offer here at Legacy Youth Zone. Your ongoing support truly empowers our members in their personal development and helps them discover new passions and skills that will benefit them in their futures.
On behalf of our COO and the entire team, thank you once again for making a lasting difference in the lives of the young people we serve."
Caridon Group extends a huge thank you to everyone who donated and supported this cause. The funds raised will have a lasting impact on the lives of young people in the community.
The fundraiser is still open for donations. Contributions can be made via the JustGiving page: Caridon Group Tough Mudder 2024 Fundraiser.
